BakerWoodward is a full-service marketing communications agency with a focus on simple, persuasive messaging. We provide comprehensive digital services through our BakerWoodward Digital Marketing division. And we excel in custom web development, logo design and branding, as well as advertising solutions for print, outdoor, broadcast and other traditional media vehicles.

History

BakerWoodward is the evolution of Baker & Baker Design, Inc., a longstanding Huntsville agency founded in 1985 by Lee and Jon Baker. A former client of Baker & Baker, Craig Woodward joined Jon and Lee to form BakerWoodward Communications in 2004 and serves as president and managing partner. Client management responsibilities are shared by the partners. Jon specializes in graphic design and location/product photography. Lee’s expertise includes creative development, copywriting and graphic design, she also serves as the agency’s Media Director. Craig oversees creative aspects of the agency with a focus on marketing strategy, concept work and content development.

BakerWoodward Communications Leadership

Jim Callahan, Creative Director — Jim is responsible for graphic design and creative development across all media platforms, with a primary focus on web development and digital media projects. A Communication Design graduate of the University of Montevallo, Jim has won numerous awards for both print and digital design work.

Shane Cook, Graphic Designer/Production Manager — An Auburn University Graphic Design graduate, Shane has an extensive background in the complexities of software and file management required for quality graphics reproduction. Shane also excels with high-level Photoshop work, and keeps the BakerWoodward IT machine running smoothly.

Mary Nail, Office Manager/Media Coordinator — In addition to the overall business operation, Mary is responsible for logistics, media management and vendor coordination for client projects. She’s also an ace proofreader and critical checkpoint for BakerWoodward creative, making sure client work passes the test for common sense communication.

Taylor Woodward, Digital Marketing Director — Taylor brings a history of hard work and an innovative mindset to the marketing and advertising industry. Whether reaching new audiences or helping current clients improve performance, he is up for the challenge. Taylor thrives on the collaborative process of working with businesses to create measurable progress and success. Skilled in Problem Solving, Case Management, Goal Setting, Sales, Communication, B2B & B2C Relationship Management, Taylor has a disciplined, business-first approach.
